Four years ago, we had the opportunity to implement an automation project for our customer Rupp Food in Hörbranz, a producer of pet food and food products. It freed employees from heavy lifting tasks and closed the gap left by the staff shortage.
With our simulation software twin, the CAD data was brought to life as a physics-based digital twin. This allowed feasibility, cycle times, component selection and risks to be checked and minimised.
Whether PLC, robot or HMI, everything was fully tested before the real machine was built. The result: costly service call-outs while the entire production stands still, and mechanical damage when, for example, a robot receives the wrong target coordinates due to communication errors – all of that is a thing of the past.
