digifai implemented an automation project at Rupp Food in Hörbranz that freed employees from heavy lifting tasks and helped address the shortage of skilled staff.
Fully tested before it was built
The simulation software twin converted the CAD data into a physics-based digital twin. This made it possible to verify feasibility, cycle times, component selection and risk mitigation in advance.
Whether PLC, robot or HMI — everything was fully tested before the real machine was built.
This approach avoided costly service call-outs during production downtime. Mechanical damage caused by communication errors in robot coordinates is now a thing of the past. The project was carried out in partnership with KUKA and Rupp Food.
