With the twin simulation software, real CAD data is brought to life as a physics-based digital twin. This makes it possible to validate machine concepts at the beginning of automation projects. Feasibility, cycle times, component selection and risks are checked and minimised.

In engineering, the twin simulation software is a tool for testing control software holistically and realistically. Whether PLC, robot or HMI, everything is fully tested before the real machine is built.

When the machine is running, twin Mirror is an interactive 3D representation of the machine that integrates seamlessly with any HMI or SCADA system. The IIoT platform control developed by digifai collects operating data and makes it available to the plant operator in a clear web application. In combination, this opens up completely new possibilities for the machine operator.

Dipl.-Ing. Michael Eberle studierte Elektrotechnik an der TU Graz und leitet bei Eberle Automatische Systeme die Abteilung für Modellierung und Simulation. In seiner Funktion ist er unter anderem für die Entwicklung einer intelligenten Software zur Erstellung und Simulation modellbasierter digitaler Zwillinge verantwortlich.
