Research Partner<\/span><\/h2>[vc_column_text]One such partner is the ROBOTICS Institute of the Austrian research organisation JOANNEUM RESEARCH<\/a>. He specialises in research into human-robot collaboration and interaction in innovative production processes as well as research into robot safety. JOANNEUM RESEARCH ROBOTICS is also dedicated to topics such as mobile robotics and mobile manipulation, particularly in the context of industrial production and logistics.<\/p>\n

digifai and JOANNEUM RESEARCH ROBOTICS are looking in the same direction. Closer co-operation therefore makes sense. Since April 2024, digifai has welcomed JOANNEUM RESEARCH as a research partner.[\/vc_column_text]

We have already worked together on research projects and want to further expand our cooperation with this step,” says Dr Michael Rathmair, Head of the Industrial Robot System Technologies research group. “The collaboration will focus on mobile manipulation and the simulation of machines and robots. I won’t tell you any more than that just yet,” explains DI Michael Eberle from digifai with a smile.<\/p>\n

Mechanical engineers and automation technicians benefit from this partnership. To reduce risks in the engineering of machines, digifai develops the twin <\/a> simulation software. With twin, physics-based digital twins of future machines can be created in 3D in no time at all. By using physics-based digital twins in 3D, engineers and technicians can identify and fix potential errors and vulnerabilities as early as the design phase. This not only increases the efficiency of the development process, but also improves the quality and reliability of the machines manufactured.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
